Today is the first day of spring break! Today, I am going to do lots of things. I started out my day with some reading, then, I watched some TV. Lastly, I wrote in the book i’m writing. I am having a great day today!!!

A limerick is an Irish name for a certain kind of poem that has five lines where:
1) the first, second and fifth lines rhyme together
2) the third and fourth lines have their own rhyme together.
Here is my example:
There is a young girl named Sadie
Who likes to eat meat with potaty!
When her Mom gave her greens,
Sade said she’d rather have beans:
If they ain’t cooked yet, I’ll just waity!
